MyOrbit is a platform where people connect through messaging, AI companions, digital twins, and creative expression. These Community Guidelines help ensure everyone can safely express themselves and connect meaningfully.

### What's Allowed

- AI-assisted creativity with proper labeling
- Parody and satire (clearly marked)

#### Healthy Debate

- Respectful disagreements
- Political discussion without hate
- Constructive criticism
- Academic discourse

#### Business & Commerce

- Promoting your services
- Creator monetization
- Legitimate marketplace listings
- Professional networking
- Customer support

#### Mature (18+, Opt-In, Properly Labeled)

- Age-restricted avatars
- Mature themes in appropriate spaces
- Adult humor
- Dating/relationship content for adults

### What's Not Allowed

#### Zero Tolerance Violations

These result in immediate, permanent bans:

##### 1\. Child Safety Violations

- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
- Sexualization of minors (anyone under 18)
- Grooming or predatory behavior
- Child exploitation of any kind
- Sharing minors' personal information

##### 2\. Terrorism & Violent Extremism

- Terrorist content or promotion
- Violent extremist propaganda
- Instructions for violence
- Threats of mass violence
- Recruitment for violent groups

##### 3\. Non-Consensual Intimate Content

- Non-consensual intimate imagery
- Non-consensual intimate deepfakes
- Hidden camera content
- Intimate content shared without permission
- Sextortion

#### Severe Violations

These typically result in suspension or ban:

##### 4\. Hate & Harassment

- **Hate Speech:** Attacks based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
- **Severe Harassment:** Sustained targeting of individuals
- **Doxxing:** Sharing private information to cause harm
- **Threats:** Credible threats of violence or harm
- **Brigading:** Coordinating attacks on individuals

##### 5\. Self-Harm & Dangerous Behaviors

**Prohibited:**
- Instructions for suicide or self-harm
- Promoting eating disorders
- Dangerous challenges that could cause injury

**Allowed with Warnings:**
- Recovery discussions and support
- Mental health awareness content

##### 6\. Illegal Activities

- Drug sales or instructions
- Weapon sales or instructions
- Human trafficking
- Fraud and scams
- Hacking and malware distribution
- Copyright infringement

#### Standard Violations

These result in content removal and possible restrictions:

##### 7\. Spam & Deception

- Mass unsolicited messages
- Misleading links or clickbait
- Fake engagement (bot likes/follows)
- Impersonation without parody label
- Coordinated inauthentic behavior

##### 8\. Misinformation

- Health misinformation causing harm
- Election misinformation
- Dangerous conspiracy theories
- Manipulated media without labels
- False emergency information

##### 9\. Mature Content Violations

- Mature content without proper labels
- Adult content accessible to minors
- Sexually explicit media
- Non-consensual intimate deepfakes
- Solicitation
- Adult content in general spaces

##### 10\. Platform Manipulation

- Circumventing bans
- Abusing reporting systems
- Exploiting technical vulnerabilities
- Selling or buying accounts
- Artificially inflating metrics

### AI-Specific Guidelines

#### AI Companions & Digital Twins

##### Required Disclosures

- Clearly label all AI-generated content
- Mark AI avatars as artificial
- Include "AI" badge on digital twins
- Warn users about AI limitations

##### Prohibited AI Uses

- Impersonating real people without permission
- Creating deceptive romantic relationships
- Providing medical/legal/financial advice
- Generating prohibited content
- Bypassing safety filters

#### "Look Ma I'm Famous" Rules

- Respect 30-day grace period for claims
- Don't create unauthorized celebrity avatars
- Honor boxing and removal requests
- Follow revenue sharing agreements

#### AI Content Creation

##### You Must:

- Label AI-generated images/videos
- Disclose AI-written text when relevant
- Respect others' likeness rights
- Verify AI information before sharing

##### You Cannot:

- Remove AI watermarks
- Claim AI content as human-made
- Use AI to generate prohibited content
- Create non-consensual deepfakes

### Age-Specific Rules

#### For All Users (13+)

- Minimum age: 13 (16 in EU)
- Phone verification required
- Age-appropriate content only
- Educational support available

#### For Minors (13-17)

- Private profiles by default
- General content only, at all times
- The Mature opt-in is not offered
- Parent-child account linking available
- No access to creator monetization

#### For Adults (18+)

- Full platform access
- May opt in to Mature (18+) in Settings, once confirmed as an adult
- Full creator monetization
- Business features available

#### Confirming You Are an Adult

Before Mature content can be turned on, your account must be confirmed as adult by a selfie-based age estimate. The selfie is used for our age check and is not retained; it is not facial recognition and is not used to identify you.

If the estimate wrongly reads you as a minor, you can appeal by verifying with a government ID through Stripe Identity. That appeal is optional, and government ID is never required to reach any content level.

### Business & Creator Guidelines

#### Marketplace Rules

- List only legitimate products/services
- Accurate descriptions required
- No counterfeit goods
- No prohibited items
- Complete transactions on-platform

#### Creator Monetization

- Authentic engagement only
- Transparent about sponsorships
- Respect fan boundaries
- Honor subscription promises
- Pay required taxes

#### Business Twins (Echo OS)

- Verify business identity
- Include accuracy disclaimers
- Maintain professional boundaries
- No unauthorized commitments
- Respect data privacy

### Content Responsibilities

MyOrbit messaging runs in a single encryption mode, with no zero-access option. That means these guidelines apply to everything on the platform, and we are able to enforce them:

- Content processed for safety
- Automated violation detection
- MyOrbit can respond to reports
- You remain responsible for what you send and publish
- No illegal activities permitted

- Automated moderation of message text and uploaded images
- Automated rate-limiting and anomaly detection

#### Enforcement Actions

##### Warning

- First-time minor violations
- Educational opportunity
- No platform restrictions

##### Content Removal

- Violating content deleted
- User notified with reason
- Strike added to account

##### Temporary Suspension

- 24 hours to 30 days
- Based on severity/history
- Appeals available

##### Permanent Ban

- Severe violations
- Repeated offenses

##### Law Enforcement Referral

- Illegal activities
- Imminent harm threats
- CSAM discoveries
- Terrorism content

#### Strike System

**1 Strike:** Warning

**2 Strikes:** 24-hour suspension

**3 Strikes:** 7-day suspension

**4 Strikes:** 30-day suspension

**5 Strikes:** Permanent ban

Strikes expire after 90 days of good standing

### Reporting Violations

#### How to Report

##### In-App Reporting (Fastest)

1. Use the Report option on any content or profile
2. Choose violation type
3. Add details if needed

##### Email Reports

- **Include:** Screenshots, links, context
- **Urgent threats:** Mark as "URGENT"

##### Law Enforcement

- **Immediate danger:** Contact local authorities
- Then report to us for platform action

#### What Happens Next

**1\. Receipt Confirmation** Immediate

**2\. Initial Review** As soon as possible

**3\. Investigation** If needed

**4\. Action Taken** Per guidelines

**5\. Reporter Notification** When complete

##### False Reporting

Abusing the reporting system violates our guidelines and may result in action against your account.

### Appeals Process

#### How to Appeal

If you believe we made a mistake:

2. Select the action to appeal
3. Provide your explanation
4. Submit supporting evidence

#### Appeal Review

- Appeals are reviewed

- Account reinstated
- Apology provided

- Some features may be unavailable in certain regions
